Welcome to TapTaxi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TapTaxi’s website, mobile application, and ride-hailing services. By accessing or using TapTaxi, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use TapTaxi. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

Ride availability depends on driver availability and location. Estimated arrival times and fares are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or technical factors. TapTaxi reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings for safety or operational reasons.

5. Pricing and Payments

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, demand, and applicable charges. Users agree to pay all ride charges, cancellation fees, tolls, taxes, and service charges. Payments can be made via cash, digital wallets, or secure online payment gateways.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Users and drivers may cancel rides according to TapTaxi’s cancellation policy. Cancellation charges may apply. Refunds, if any, will be processed based on the payment method used and may take several business days.

7. Driver and Third-Party Services

Drivers using TapTaxi are independent contractors and not employees. TapTaxi acts as a technology platform connecting riders and drivers. TapTaxi is not responsible for driver conduct beyond applicable law but takes reasonable steps to maintain service quality and safety.
